  • Participate in QA/QC inspections, punch walks, system testing, commissioning activities, and turnover documentation.
  • Support energization planning, lockout/tagout coordination, commissioning sequences, and critical system startup activities.
  • Track electrical issues, risks, constraints, and action items through resolution.
  • Provide technical input during schedule reviews, construction planning meetings, and commissioning readiness reviews.
  • Ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and in alignment with data center reliability requirements.
  • Mentor field teams and provide practical guidance on complex electrical installations.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong background in electrical construction, engineering, commissioning, or owner's representative work.
  • Previous experience supporting data center construction projects is required.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of high‑voltage and medium‑voltage electrical systems.
  • Experience with mission‑critical infrastructure, including switch gear, substations, transformers, generators, UPS systems, power distribution, grounding, and controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one‑lines, specifications, schematics, and equipment documentation.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety practices, QA/QC requirements, and commissioning processes.
  • Ability to identify field issues and drive practical solutions under schedule pressure.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across contractors, engineers, vendors, and owner teams.
  • Must be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑moving construction environment.
  • Must have grit, urgency, and the ability to stay calm and effective when project conditions are challenging.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with hyperscale or large colocation data center projects.
  • Prior owner's representative, construction management, or commissioning experience.
  • Familiarity with critical power redundancy designs such as N+1, 2N, distributed redundant, or similar configurations.
