VP Engineering – Product + Engineering-to-Manufacturing Execution (Modular Engineered Fabrication)

Confidential High Growth Company | Memphis Metro (On-site)

Why You Should Be Interested in this Role:

This is a rare opportunity to step into a VP-level Engineering leadership role inside a fast-growing, small, nimble manufacturer serving a broad set of customers with an engineered and fabricated product platform
.

The product architecture is modular by design
, but a meaningful portion of orders require customer-specific customization
. The mandate is to:

  • Scale the modular platform and reduce avoidable “one-off” engineering
  • Make customization faster, cleaner, and more profitable when it’s truly required
  • Tighten engineering discipline so the factory builds from accurate drawings, BOMs, routings, and labor standards
  • Strengthen the interface between Engineering and Operations to improve SQCD (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost) + margin
  • Lead Engineering + Maintenance with a practical, floor-present leadership style

This is a role for a leader who enjoys building structure without slowing the business down
.
