This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.

We are seeking a Facilities Electrical Engineer II to join our team at Launch Site One (LSO). This role will be responsible for the electrical engineering and configuration management of systems and their future modifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility electrical infrastructure design and maintenance, as well as proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide electrical engineering support for facility infrastructure projects.
  • Manage configuration of electrical systems and coordinate future modifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe and efficient electrical system designs.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software for project planning and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in facility electrical infrastructure design and maintenance activities.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other pertinent design software.

Desired

Qualifications:

  • Eligible to test for Professional Engineer (PE) license within 3 years.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including:
    Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.

  • Required for certain Job Profiles:
    Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
