Overview
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is a leader in innovative defense solutions. The Ground Based Air Surveillance (GBAS) TPY‑4 sub‑market segment supports the development, production, delivery, and aftermarket support of TPY‑4 radar systems.
Responsibilities- P&L responsibility for delivering on all contractual and financial commitments and working with business development to grow the portfolio.
- Coordinate with operations, supply chain, and sustainment program managers to ensure executable programs and alignment across the customer base.
- Interface with multiple disciplines: capture management, business development, global sustainment, engineering, supply chain, operations, fleet management, field service representatives, logistics support, and technical publications.
- Build strong relationships across cultural boundaries.
- Manage complex projects with multiple inter‑dependencies.
- Communicate effectively with personnel and customers at all levels, from inexperienced employees to executive leadership.
- Travel as required.
- Program management leadership of large and complex programs, including capture, development, and production efforts.
- At least 8 years of cross‑functional program leadership with scope >$50M and responsibility for quality, technical, schedule, and cost performance.
- Experience working on Department of Defense contracts.
- Experience in proposal development (INAR, EPP, negotiations).
- Strong problem‑solving skills, including root‑cause and corrective action.
- Experience communicating with all levels of an organization.
- Ability to give clear and timely direction to support contract requirements.
- Experience managing suppliers and subcontractors.
- EVMS and CAM experience.
- Risk management experience.
- Business acumen to make decisions that impact program and drive results.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Experience managing complex domestic and international defense programs.
- Proven leadership of cross‑functional teams in development and production environments.
- Familiarity with radar systems or related defense technologies.
- Skill in risk identification, mitigation planning, and root cause analysis.
- Business acumen with experience meeting cost, schedule, and technical performance goals.
- Experience in proposal development and supporting capture efforts.
- Knowledge of aftermarket support and sustainment program management.
- PMP certification or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
This position requires a government security clearance. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens for consideration. Clearance level:
Secret.
Part‑time remote telework is possible. The selected employee will work part of the schedule remotely and part at a Lockheed Martin facility.
Compensation and BenefitsAnnual base salary range $134,000 – $236,325 (varies by state). The position is incentive plan eligible.
