Mid-Level Radiation Test Engineer

Position Overview

Amentum is a trusted partner to United States government agencies, allied governments, and corporations worldwide. We are seeking a Mid‑Level Radiation Test Electrical Engineer to support our Strategic Microelectronics program.

• Perform a range of design development, analysis, or review tasks under supervision.
• Support radiation testing of microelectronic components.
• Design a portion or section of an analysis or design review.
• Generate sections of design specifications for complex projects or complete specifications for less complex projects.
• Prepare, deliver, and submit technical presentations for in‑process design and review meetings.
• Direct interface and liaison with customers, from quotation to final design and test activities, design reviews, and technical working group meetings to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
• Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related scientific field with 7–12 years of related work experience or equivalent.
• Strong communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software applications.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance with Interim Secret Clearance.

• Experience in modeling and simulation, experimental design, or testing of radiation‑hardened electronics.
• Master’s degree in engineering or related field with 13+ years of related work experience.
• Experience with hardware security and trusted electronics issues.
• Experience with semiconductor fabrication tools and processes.

Annual compensation ranges from $90,000 to $130,000, depending on education, experience, and skills.
