Senior Level Semiconductor Device Modeling Engineer

Overview

Senior Level Semiconductor Device Modeling Engineer ponsible for modeling radiation effects (MoRE) for semiconductor devices.

• Develop radiation effect aware SPICE models for semiconductors.
• Leverage available modeling products to conduct TCAD simulations.
• Implement worst‑case analysis scenarios in circuit design, incorporating programming and statistical applications as needed.
• Attend national radiation conferences.
• Perform design, development, or review tasks under close supervision.
• Design portions or sections of an analysis or design review.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and correspondence.
• Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
• Interface with customers during design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
• Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
• 15+ years of experience.
• Ability to learn and understand nuclear physics related to electron, gamma‑ray, and neutron behavior on solid state electronic components.
• Ability to communicate technical and non‑technical information to broad audiences.
• Team player, able to receive mentoring from senior engineers and leadership.
• Working knowledge of electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, SMUs, etc.)
• Technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Understanding of microelectronics devices, LabVIEW, Altium, PCB design.
• Aptitude for solving technical problems and creating customer solutions.
• Understanding of concepts, theories, and methods related to the composition, structure, and properties of microelectronics.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance (Interim Secret required to start).

• Master’s degree in engineering.
• Active Secret Clearance.

$120,000 - $190,000 annually (range provided as a good‑faith estimate; actual compensation may vary).
