For an advanced and innovative technology project we are seeking a Senior RF Engineer to join the research and development team of high‑power electromagnetic transmission systems
The position includes development implementation and integration of electromagnetic RF systems
Position Description
Research design and development of advanced electromagnetic transmission systems including high‑voltage and high‑power RF components pulsed‑power systems antennas and antenna arrays power combiners and high‑voltage switching boards
The role involves engineering work at both component and system levels including design implementation integration and testing
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement high‑power electromagnetic transmission systems
Design and develop high‑voltage high‑power RF components in accordance with system architecture
Develop and implement high‑voltage switching boards and pulsed‑power modules
Participate in design characterization and testing of antennas and antenna arrays
Implement and integrate power combiners and dividers
Establish operate and perform experiments involving high voltage and strong electromagnetic fields
Perform component and subsystem level electromagnetic analyses calculations and simulations using HFSS or CST
Participate in integration processes and system‑level testing
Prepare technical reports test documents and present results
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including RF high‑voltage control and mechanical groups
Requirements:
BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
At least 5 years of proven experience in R&D of RF or electromagnetic systems
Demonstrated experience with electromagnetic simulations using HFSS or CST
Knowledge and experience in designing or implementing high‑voltage high‑power RF components
Ability to work independently on complex engineering tasks as part of a system team
Willingness and ability to work offsite as required
Advantages:
Experience with high‑power microwave HPM systems
Experience working with high‑voltage switching boards and or pulsed‑power systems
Experience working with high voltage vacuum and plasma
Experience in antenna design or characterization
Experience in integration and testing of complex systems
