  • Provide on‑site engineering technical expertise to support construction and commissioning activities.
  • Support testing and system verification processes during commissioning phases.
  • Collaborate closely with contractors and project teams to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all engineering activities align with project goals, schedules, and quality requirements.
  • Serve as a primary technical point of contact on the project site for engineering‑related matters.
  • Monitor construction activities to verify conformance with approved designs and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation related to submittals, transmittals, and RFIs.
Skills
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices as applied to large‑scale energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in design review processes and the ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience managing EPC submittal, transmittal, and RFI workflows in a construction environment.
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and quality control practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to address technical challenges in the field.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced project environment.
  • Familiarity with commissioning processes, including testing and system verification for utility‑scale energy projects.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of engineering quality.
Experience
  • Prior experience on utility‑scale wind, solar, or other large‑scale energy generation projects is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a project engineering or field engineering role within an EPC or owner’s engineering capacity.
  • Experience working directly with contractors and construction teams in a site‑based environment.
  • Background in managing technical documentation processes including submittals, RFIs, and transmittals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred or the ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is acceptable for candidates with relevant project experience.
