What You’ll Bring- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of proven experience in oil and gas automation
- Minimum of 2 years in field commissioning or controls engineering
- Advanced expertise in PLC programming with Allen‑Bradley platforms, including PlantPAx systems
- Strong skills in HMI development using Factory Talk View SE/ME
- Extensive experience in field implementation, including loop checks, functional testing, and system startup validation
- Robust troubleshooting abilities across control systems, networking, and instrumentation
- Familiarity with oil and gas production processes and industrial communication protocols like Ethernet/IP, Modbus, serial, and wireless
- Knowledge of industry standards such as API, NEC, ISA, and procedures like MOC and PSSR
- Willingness to travel, work extended hours, and support on‑call rotations
- Experience with other automation software and tools
- Certifications in controls and safety standards
- Knowledge of cybersecurity protocols relevant to industrial controls
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of hands‑on automation experience in the oil and gas sector
- Ability to work in the field environment for extended periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
