Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Quality Assurance — Conduct routine and detailed inspections of mechanical systems, including boilers, pressure vessels, piping, turbines, and rotating equipment. Inspect high voltage-related mechanical components such as cooling systems, transformers (mechanical aspects), and associated infrastructure. Verify that installations, repairs, and modifications comply with engineering specifications, codes, and standards (ASME, API, ANSI, IEEE, NEC). Perform dimensional checks, material verification, and weld inspections (visual and NDT coordination).
Boiler& Pressure Systems
Inspect boilers, heat exchangers, steam lines, valves, and safety relief devices for compliance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Monitor boiler performance and identify issues such as corrosion, fatigue, scaling, and leaks. Ensure proper documentation of boiler inspections, maintenance, and certifications.
High Voltage & Power Plant SystemsSupport inspections of systems in high voltage areas, ensuring safe operation of mechanical components supporting electrical equipment. Verify proper installation and mechanical integrity of cooling systems, cable supports, enclosures, and structural elements. Collaborate with electrical teams to ensure integrated system safety.
