  • Data Center / Critical Equipment Focus – Expedite mission‑critical equipment such as switch gear, transformers, UPS systems, generators; mechanical equipment (chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, cooling systems); modular/skidded systems and prefabricated assemblies; understand sequencing and interdependencies of equipment required for commissioning and energization.
  • Schedule & Risk Management – Maintain expediting logs and dashboards for all active purchase orders; identify potential delays early and elevate risks with mitigation strategies; support project controls and scheduling teams with accurate delivery forecasts; align material delivery with construction sequencing and site readiness.
  • Documentation & Reporting – Track vendor submittals, drawings, and documentation required for engineering and construction; ensure timely submission and approval of vendor data to avoid downstream delays; provide weekly expediting reports highlighting status, risks, and recovery actions; maintain accurate records in procurement and project management systems.
Qualifications Experience

5+ years of experience in procurement, expediting, or supply chain roles within data center construction and industrial EPC projects; experience with long‑lead equipment and critical‑path supply chain management; field or fabrication shop experience is a strong plus.

Technical Knowledge

Understanding of project lifecycle (ex EPC = engineering → procurement → construction → commissioning); familiarity with fabrication processes, vendor manufacturing timelines, and logistics; ability to read and interpret schedules, purchase orders, and basic technical documentation.

Skills

Strong communication and vendor management skills; highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments; proactive problem solver with a strong sense of urgency and accountability; proficient in Procore, Excel, and other project‑tracking tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar systems).

Key Competencies
  • Schedule‑driven mindset with focus on critical‑path delivery.
  • Attention to detail and follow‑through.
  • Ability to influence vendors without direct authority.
  • Strong coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Adaptability in high‑growth, fast‑track project environments.
