Your Role

Leadership:
- Organize and coordinate the activities of your team and be a force of proposal to rationalize activities for different businesses at the two sites, and to improve productivity.
- Ensure that the team has the necessary skills and competencies to manage the activities entrusted to it.
- Ensure the effective management of the activities entrusted to your team, ensuring compliance with project schedules and budgets, and following the processes in place.
- Report on activities and alert to any deviations and unresolved blockages. Additionally, evaluate/develop the needs for resources (staff, skills, tools, and methods) and alert in case of difficulties associated with the activities carried out.
- Define and regularly review the priorities of your team members and evaluate performance on these bases.
Expertise Technical:
- Ensure the quality of technical files and information transmitted by the members of your team.
- Define and optimize the tools and methods necessary for the execution of the activity.
- Participate in technical reviews of projects (ITO, OTR, service) and provide your expertise in BT design within system engineering.
- Ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, codes, and standards, as well as good engineering practices and EHS requirements (projects, resources).
Your Qualifications
- Degree in electrotechnical engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience or experienced technician with a minimum of 12 years of experience in the field of electrical cabinet design.
- Managerial skills:
Leadership, ability to manage and rally teams. - Good knowledge of risk management using AMDEC (Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis) principles, functional analyses, and RACI (Responsibility Assignment Matrix).
- Good knowledge of GEV-PCS products (drives, EMS cabinets, control cabinets, LADC rectifiers) is necessary.
- Skills in CAD software (e.g., Schemelect, Panel 3D, Autocad 2D, E-plan, CREO (Pro/Engineer) or MS Visio)
- Good knowledge of cabinet design standards (NF C15-100, IEC 61439, EN 60204)
- Apart from French, you are comfortable in English (read/write), and can interact orally.
- Organized, autonomous, with a developed sense of responsibility to solve daily difficulties and achieve project objectives.
