Overview We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the design, construction, and execution of utility scale wind generation projects. This role provides on site engineering expertise and is responsible for managing EPC processes, reviewing designs, and ensuring alignment with project specifications, standards, and quality expectations.
The ideal candidate brings strong electrical engineering knowledge, experience supporting EPC projects, and the ability to collaborate closely with contractors and project teams to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities
- Perform engineering design reviews to ensure alignment with owner specifications, project requirements, and industry standards
- Manage EPC submittal, transmittal, and RFI processes
- Provide on site technical engineering support during construction and commissioning phases
- Support testing, system verification, and commissioning activities
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues
- Ensure compliance with high voltage (HV) and medium voltage (MV) design standards
- Monitor construction progress and provide technical input to maintain schedule and quality
- Assist with issue resolution, risk identification, and troubleshooting during project execution
- Associate s Degree (AAS) in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in EPC projects or client side project representation
- Strong knowledge of high voltage and medium voltage electrical design
- Experience supporting construction and commissioning activities
- Ability to work effectively in a field based project environment
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross functional teams
- Experience with commissioning processes and system validation
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems
- Experience with wind turbine technologies
- Exposure to R&D or advanced engineering environments
