We are hiring for a Mechanical QA/QC Agent in Texas, Georgia, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Arizona. As part of our Mission Critical team, you will help our clients achieve energy‑efficient building solutions and create a greener future.

Why We Need You

In this role you will resolve quality control challenges and complete tasks assigned, including developing and implementing quality control process delivery plans based on owner’s project requirements, basis of design, design and construction documents, shop drawings, specifications, and code research.

The expertise of our most successful Mechanical QA/QC Agent includes
  • Technical or associate degree in HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, engineering, or construction management from an accredited institution, or commensurate design or field experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mechanical service or mechanical equipment testing.
  • Minimum of two (2) years in mission‑critical and two (2) years in hyperscale space.
  • Functional knowledge of building systems across disciplines, including HVAC, fire protection, technology, instrumentation and controls, and processes.
  • Expertise in state‑of‑the‑art critical systems, including building monitoring systems, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, RTUs, pumps, and fans.
  • Fundamental knowledge of commissioning processes and delivery of applicable equipment.
  • Fundamental knowledge of construction processes and project delivery models.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, specifications, and shop drawings with the ability to interpret them.
  • Proficiency in applicable technologies, including computer/software, data loggers, and test and measurement equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and state‑required vehicle insurance.

  • Operate and instruct others in test and measurement equipment and common tools.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Work effectively individually and within team environments.
  • Procore, CxAlloy, or BIM
    360 experience is a plus.
Typical Responsibilities
  • Perform periodic site walks to ensure adherence to procedures and best practices, assist general contractors and their site superintendents with inspections as required.
  • Deliver a daily report detailing completed tasks or inspections and provide information regarding issues supported by codes or standards.
  • Collaborate in a team environment, mentoring, delegating work, and giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Onsite expectation 100 % if placed on a site within the region; otherwise, travel of up to 75 % is expected.
