Aeromapper Drone Project Engineer

Aeromapper, located in Massy, is a dynamic and innovative startup within the Group, focused on drone activities. A team of around fifteen employees develop, produce, and market drones for both defense and civilian uses.

As an Aeronautical Mechanical Design Engineer in our R&D team, you will participate in the design and industrialization of fixed-wing drones and associated subsystems (payload, ground station, etc.).

Within the R&D department, your main tasks will be:

• Design and 3D modeling:
  Design and develop technical drawings and 3D models of sub-assemblies, mechanical and electrical components, and parts for our drones according to the required constraints and performance.
• Development follow-up:
  Selection of technical solutions, selection of equipment and components, technical analysis, configuration management
• Prototyping:
  Support the manufacturing of prototypes, either internally or in collaboration with our partners, analysis of tests and qualifications
• Industrialization:
  Anticipate the industrialization of the product (architecture, materials, suppliers) and participate in the definition of production means and methods.
• Technical documentation:
  Contribute to the elaboration of detailed technical documentation (manufacturing procedures, user manuals, support and maintenance plan)

Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree +5 in mechanical or aeronautical engineering, you have successful first experience in the design of the architecture of a mechanical flight assembly, ideally on innovative drone projects.

You are proficient in Solid Works and 3D design tools, preferably in 3D surface.

Knowledge of the design of mechatronic components (such as servomechanisms).

Your experience gives you a good understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, and additive manufacturing techniques.

You like to independently analyze technical problems and be a force of proposal.

You want to contribute in a good relationship to frequently exchange with R&D colleagues and the industrial team.
