What We Can Accomplish Together:

The Safety of Operation Engineer reports to the head of the Safety of Operation Department of GTS France and functionally to the safety of operation product managers. He/She is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of safety of operation plans in line with CENELEC (EN50126/8/9).

Under the functional supervision of the safety of operation product managers, you will be entrusted with the following missions:

• Contribute to the respect of costs/schedule/quality for deliverables,
• Participate in the updating of safety of operation dashboards for products,
• Participate in the writing of the Plan, software and system safety analyses,
• Risk analyses, Hazard Register,
• Participate in the allocation of objectives of Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability to subsystems and equipment, to the definition of architectures to achieve them, to the predictive calculations of Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability according to internal procedures,
• Participate in the reviews of the engineering documents of the engineering batch(es) to which it is assigned
• Report on progress and any difficulties that may jeopardize the achievement of the objectives of safety of operation to the head of the batch(es) to which it is assigned

Who Are You?

• You hold a Bac+5 degree from an engineering school or equivalent
• You have 3 to 5 years of professional experience in safety of operation
• You have an interest in terrestrial transport and especially in rail
• You have a mastery of C, C++ languages
• You have a mastery of spoken and written French and English
• Knowledge of CENELEC EN 50126/8/9 or similar standards, knowledge of the ADA language or a formal method would be a plus
