Location: Haskell

Headquartered in Conyers, Georgia, Batchelor & Kimball partners with clients to deliver excellent results from engineering and construction to operations and maintenance. The company offers design/build and turnkey construction services, including teaming with selected subcontractors for electrical and general construction.

We are seeking a Commissioning Specialist (Mechanical) with strong experience in Mechanical Construction projects. The role requires independent work, minimal oversight, and a focus on customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do
  • Understand and follow communication plans with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project status.
  • Understand project schedules, milestones, critical path, and identify future planning needs and constraints.
  • Collaborate with technicians, team leads, and other PMs to perform project commissioning tasks, meet schedule requirements, communicate project progress, and review plans, specifications, and submittals.
  • Support customer satisfaction initiatives by building relationships, investigating concerns, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with internal and external customers.
What you’ll need (minimum qualifications)
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Consistent dependability and availability.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced construction field and office environment.
  • Aptitude to learn new systems.
  • General mechanical systems knowledge.
  • Knowledge of commissioning processes, documentation, and implementation.
  • Interpretation of controls one line drawings for integration with equipment is a plus.
Good to have
  • 1‑5 years of experience in the field of HVAC.
  • Experience working with building owners preferred.
