Job DescriptionAre you an engineer with a generalist or specialized background in industrial IT, aeronautics, transport, or automation? You have 2 to 5 years of experience in validating complex industrial systems, ideally with availability/security constraints, during which you managed a team. Experience in the rail/signaling domain is a plus. You demonstrate synthesis, rigor, and the ability to analyze complex technical problems. You have a good understanding of validation activities throughout the V-cycle: requirement management & traceability, impact analysis, non-regression principle, test coverage, execution of tests on target, configuration management, and anomaly management.
You are autonomous, proactive, flexible, and open-minded. You understand complex environments, enjoy teamwork, and have technical leadership, piloting, and subcontractor follow-up capabilities. Together, we can achieve:
As part of the ICS (Integrated Communication & Supervision System) activity in the rail domain (GTS), you join the engineering department to work on our projects as a IVVQ manager.
You organize and coordinate validation activities to ensure the delivery of a mature system that meets project contractual requirements (no coverage gaps).
You are responsible for the quality of deliverables and the adherence to deadlines.
Your main tasks are:
- Define the overall testing strategy
- Specify and develop all test plans and test cases
- Prepare and write tests (test sheet and test scenario) in front of functional specifications
- Conduct test sessions: impact analysis, definition of test scope, coordination of test procedure execution, production of test report, and management of reported issues, identification of restrictions
- Participate in customer acceptance tests
- Specify, define, develop, and validate the test environment and tools (test bench, recording tools, simulated I/O,...)
- Perform investigations of detected anomalies in the factory and on-site
- Estimate the workload, contribute to the planning, and follow up on validation activities
- Manage the configuration management of deliverables according to the project configuration plan
- Provide traceability of tests with respect to requirements according to the requirements management plan
- Apply GTS processes and standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of validation activities (be a force of proposal)
