Iron Oak Management LLC seeks an Area Coordinator in Kermit, TX to coordinate and lead operational, quality, process, and maintenance activities related to a specific production area of the plant.

Job Description

Coordinate and lead operational, quality, process, and maintenance activities related to a specific production area of the plant. Plan, schedule, and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance activities, maintaining equipment history and evaluating production KPIs. Leading root cause analysis, reporting and analyzing area downtime. Review quality specifications of the inputs and outputs of the designated plant area and performing daily walk‑by inspections of the assigned area, creating work orders, and prioritizing work orders.

Lead repairs and preventive maintenance of heavy industrial machinery and equipment at the mine site and analyze the daily performance of key equipment. Serve as a liaison between maintenance and production to prioritize and coordinate work.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent plus 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or any engineering related job titles.
  • Requires 3 years of experience with:
    • Process Improvement; focus on yield improvements properly sizing screens to gradations as well as VFD programming to tune process and optimize outputs
    • Production planning, optimization, and equipment efficiency and evaluation of production of KPIs
    • Preventive, predictive and corrective heavy equipment maintenance
    • HMI
    • Managing adjustments and requirements for Ignition Operating System and Production/Process reporting
    • Automation troubleshooting, programming and optimization for efficiency in the process which includes tuning of PID controllers managing downtime reports, updating Pareto charts, and performing root cause analysis
    • Periodical reporting of low‑rate cause and developing plans to resolve issues.
