Within the Emulsion and Cold Techniques Service of the CORE Center, reporting directly to the Service Chief, you will be responsible for conducting formulation and physico-chemical characterization tests of road binders, evaluating their mechanical and thermal performances, and developing new tests for characterizing road binders for research or technical assistance projects.

Your main duties will include:

• Manufacturing and chemically characterizing road binders while adhering to quality and safety standards.
• Evaluating their mechanical and thermal performances in the laboratory.
• Developing experimental protocols.
• Being responsible for standard laboratory equipment and ensuring their maintenance, calibration, and proper functioning.
• Communicating results through written reports and oral presentations.
• Training and guiding less experienced personnel.
• Observing all regulatory standards and company policies related to HSE, quality, and IT tools.

Confirmed senior technician with a level Bac +2 in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or materials. You have knowledge in formulation, emulsion techniques, and physico-chemical characterization of materials, ideally in road or related fields. Analytical skills, critical thinking, adaptability, writing quality, and interpersonal skills are your assets for success in this position.
