Mechanical Engineer – Head of Proposals Dpt
BCT GROUP is a Leading company in Cleanroom Facilities development (design, turn-key construction, validation) for Pharma, Electronics, Advanced Materials and Space Industry. The company has a separate business unit focused on Cabling Industry providing solutions for niche technology applications such as HV/EHV cables Degassing, extruder lines Clean rooms and production Lines Process Cooling.
BCT is looking for a Senior professional Mechanical Engineer for the position of Head of Proposals Department.
The scope of the Role is to prepare the Proposals for the company’s RfQs achieving final awarding of the projects to the company. The professional will lead a team of 3-5 people for this scope.
Description of Role:
The process of the work includes project specifications requirements analyses, pre-design of technical solution up to basic design (often an a preliminary 3D), equipment sizing and manufacturers search for technical compliance and competitive price, project costing, elaboration of project quotation documents and project presentation in PPT. Multiple projects will be carried out simultaneously and tough deadlines will often occur for quotation submission.
The department occasionally may carry out design projects up to basic design for Industrial HVAC & MEP systems.

Prerequisites for the role, all the here-under:
- Excellent knowledge of Mechanical systems: HVAC & MEP, this can be proved by:
- At least 5 years of experience in Design Company carrying out large scale buildings’ MEP design obtaining a role of senior professional been fully responsible for large scale projects design or
- At least 5 years of experience in Design & Build company carrying out MEP systems for factories and large-scale buildings, not residential MEP.
- At least 2 years of Experience in site engineering and project management for industrial MEP systems or MEP for large scale buildings (Hotels, areas of assembly etc.)
- Experience of leading teams at least of 5 people
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (for Greece: NTUA, AUT, TUP, TUC)
- Excellent use of German language and or knowledge of an Asiatic language (Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese) or Egyptian will be considered as a strong benefit for the candidate.
