Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. (JLL) seeks a Senior Critical Facilities Engineer to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation of mission-critical building systems across a commercial real estate portfolio. You will lead maintenance and optimization of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, UPS, generators, and building automation systems, oversee vendors and contractors, and coordinate testing, inspections, and emergency response. Collaborating with property and project teams, you'll drive uptime, risk mitigation, compliance, and sustainability while mentoring junior engineers and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead operation and maintenance of critical electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and life-safety systems.
- Implement and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Coordinate and oversee vendors, contractors, testing, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.
- Support emergency response planning, drills, and incident resolution.
- Collaborate with property, project, and sustainability teams to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Document maintenance activities, incidents, and performance metrics.
- Identify and execute reliability and energy efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians on critical facility best practices.
