Design Engineer

M Force Technology is a specialized recruiting company placing candidates in engineering positions throughout the Southeast.

We are currently looking for a Design Engineer outside of the Memphis, TN area.

The position is a first shift position Monday through Friday.

This position requires a team player in a fast paced environment. They will be responsible for the conversion of 2D to 3D in a large manufacturing facility.

• Proficient in the use of Solid Works software to create 3D models of assemblies, parts, drawings and bills of materials.
• Works well in team environment. Ability to take recommendations from the production floor and implement into design changes as required.
• Schedule and facilitate design reviews at critical milestones in the design process.
• Experienced in DFA and DFM methodologies.
• Executes designs in a timely manner with emphasis on keeping work flowing to the production floor (KISS principle).
• Functions well in a fast pace high stress environment.
• Managed team of engineers in past.
• Great leadership skills.
