I&C Technician: V

Job Title:

I&C Technician V Duration: 12 months (possibility for extension)

Monday to Friday, 10-hour days

This opportunity supports commissioning, turnover, and startup activities within an LNG facility environment, with a strong focus on instrumentation, analyzers, and control systems. The role plays a key part in ensuring system completion, operational readiness, and safe plant startup, including work involving GE Mark VI turbine controls and plant DCS integration. This position offers exposure to a technically demanding project setting where troubleshooting, loop checks, calibration, and startup execution are central to success.

• 5+ years of I&C experience in LNG, gas processing, or cryogenic facilities.
• Direct hands-on commissioning, startup, turnover, and system completion experience.
• Experience supporting turbine and process unit startup in a live plant or project environment.
• Background working with instrumentation, analyzers, and control systems through construction, commissioning, and operations readiness phases.

• Strong capability in instrument calibration, loop checks, functional testing, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems.
• Hands-on experience with GE Mark VI and integration with plant DCS and field instrumentation.
• Knowledge of online analyzers including gas chromatographs, moisture, and gas quality systems.
• Practical understanding of process measurement systems including pressure, temperature, flow, and level.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and control narratives.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in dynamic startup and commissioning conditions.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Operations, Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning teams.
• Commitment to safety, procedure compliance, documentation quality, and operational readiness.
• Familiarity with instrumentation installation and relevant industry standards.
