Position SummaryThe Cage and Club Cashier is responsible to provide a level of service that is gracious, kind and warm, creating a sense of hometown hospitality and fun with guests. The role complies with strict adherence to internal control policies, state regulations, Bank Securities Act, Title 31 Rules and Regulations, and the company’s Responsible Gaming Plan.
General Accountabilities- Communicate effectively with all levels of team members, guests and outside contacts.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Move around all work areas effectively and efficiently.
- Work long hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Extended time on your feet.
Must be 21 years of age or older to apply. A high school diploma or GED is required. Banking and guest service experience preferred. You must have a friendly demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public. You must be able to work in an intense, fast-paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary. You should demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
Attendance and punctuality are essential. You must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance. Must have an optimistic outlook, proven track record of leading, inspiring success in service excellence, attention to quality details, great communication skills, and know how to deliver fun.
- Attend required training sessions offered by the casino.
- Obtain required license(s).
- Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the employee’s department.
- Have knowledge of the property’s programs to address problem gambling.
- Consult with appropriate individuals and maintain effective written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls.
- Take appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to appropriate levels of management.
- Report any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any staff member that you have knowledge of.
