As the Bowling/Games Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing store profits while ensuring the seamless operation and exceptional guest experience of our family entertainment center. You will oversee various attractions, including bowling, arcade games, laser tag, rope climbing course, and rock climbing.
Responsibilities- Attraction Oversight:
Oversee daily operations and staffing of attractions such as bowling lanes, arcade games, laser tag, rope climbing, and rock‑climbing walls. Ensure all attractions are well‑maintained, safe, and operational. Monitor guest feedback and address issues promptly. - Manage inventory and prize trends for the redemption store.
- Revenue Monitoring:
Track revenue from each attraction, analyze trends, and identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with the GM on budget creation and management. - Guest
Experience:
Implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction, train staff in excellent customer service, and address guest concerns. - Cross‑Department
Collaboration:
Work closely with other department heads to coordinate schedules, staffing, and resources, fostering a collaborative environment for overall success. - Cleanliness and Maintenance:
Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and well‑maintained. Oversee cleanliness standards and regularly inspect equipment, restrooms, and common areas. - Reporting and Analysis:
Generate reports on attraction performance, attendance, and revenue. Use data to make informed decisions and present findings to senior management. - Safety and Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols, stay informed about industry regulations, and conduct safety drills and training sessions. - People Management:
Hire, train, and supervise staff. Create a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive atmosphere. Set performance expectations, conduct reviews, and foster a positive work environment.
- Five years of experience in entertainment center management or a similar role.
- Familiarity with FEC operations, including bowling, arcade games, and attractions.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, and reaching around the theater. Noise level may be moderate to high able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
