Specialist | Mergers & Acquisitions
A leading Investment company is searching for a highly skilled Specialist | Mergers & Acquisitions reporting to the Head of Acquisitions. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and executing acquisitions that align with the company's strategic objectives. This role requires strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex transactions from inception to completion.
Duties & Responsibilities- Proactively identify potential acquisition opportunities through market research, industry analysis, and networking.
- Evaluate strategic fit, financial viability, and potential risks associated with target brokerages or offices.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including valuation modeling, to assess the feasibility and potential returns of proposed transactions.
- Lead due diligence efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to evaluate legal, financial, operational, and regulatory aspects of target brokerages or offices.
- Develop deal structures and negotiation strategies to maximize value and mitigate risks for the company.
- Engage in negotiations with target companies, shareholders, and other stakeholders to achieve favourable terms and agreements.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and functional teams, to ensure alignment of M&A activities with overall business objectives.
- Build partnerships, networks and business expansion.
- Monitor and track integration progress, addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the integration process.
- Prepare and review transaction documentation, including letters of intent, purchase agreements, and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Ensure adherence to financial services industry regulations.
Desired Experience & QualificationAdvanced degree in Financial degree preferred.
