Blue J Mortgage is looking for motivated individuals to launch their careers as Mortgage Loan Officers . This remote, commission-based role provides comprehensive training and licensing support for those eager to enter the mortgage industry. No experience is required—just strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and an interest in obtaining an NMLS license in TX and/or LA . You’ll gain hands-on experience, work alongside experienced Loan Officers, and receive the mentorship needed to transition into a fully licensed Loan Officer with high earning potential.

Skills

Strong communication and people skills

Self-motivated with a willingness to learn

Sales or customer service experience is a plus

Excellent attention to detail and organization

Comfortable working in a remote, commission-based environment

Experience

Interest in obtaining a Mortgage Loan Officer license (NMLS) in TX and/or LA

Bachelor’s degree preferred – In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

No prior mortgage experience required – we provide training and guidance

Background in sales, finance, customer service, or real estate is beneficial but not required

Must be willing to complete the required pre-licensing education and pass the NMLS exam

Responsibilities

Learn the fundamentals of mortgage lending and industry regulations.

Assist clients in understanding home loan options and the loan process.

Develop relationships with home buyers, real estate agents, and industry professionals.

Work closely with experienced Loan Officers to gain hands-on experience.

Receive guidance, mentorship, and training to pass the NMLS licensing exam.

Transition into a fully licensed Mortgage Loan Officer with strong earning potential!
