Lead Finance for a Premier Destination Resort

Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a strategic, hands-on Controller to lead financial operations for one of Texas' most dynamic, multi-revenue luxury resorts. This is not a back-office role-you'll be a key business partner influencing performance across rooms, F&B, golf, marina, spa, and more.

What You'll Do

* Lead all accounting operations: GL, AP/AR, payroll, income audit, and purchasing

* Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting and a clean month-end close

* Partner with department leaders to drive profitability and performance

* Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

* Ensure strong internal controls and regulatory compliance

* Oversee audits, cash flow, and multi-entity financial activity

* Build and develop a high-performing accounting team

* Drive process improvements across systems and workflows

What We're Looking For

* 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including leadership

* Strong hospitality or resort financial expertise (multi-revenue environments required)

* Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls

* Proven ability to influence operations and partner across departments

* Hands-on leadership style with strong communication skills

Preferred:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

* Experience with hospitality systems (M3, Opera, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits

* $105,000 - $125,000 base salary
