Description/Notes: Primary

Purpose:

Serve as the financial adviser to the superintendent and board of trustees. Direct and manage the district's financial, business and operational services including accounting, payroll, purchasing, risk management, tax collection, food service, and related operational functions.

Qualifications:

• Education/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field required
  • Master's degree in a business-related field or educational administration preferred
  • CPA preferred

  • Advanced technical knowledge of school finance, budgeting, accounting systems, and economics
  • Working knowledge of financial applications and accounting
  • Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and do word processing
  • Ability to implement policy and procedures
  • Ability to interpret data
  • Ability to manage budget and personnel
  • Ability to coordinate district functions
  • Excellent communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
• Experience: Five (5) years experience in school business management or public organization or equivalent experience

Salary Range: $105,745-$145,702
