Our client is building a technology-first commercial bank focused on cross-border payments, dollar clearing, and serving fintechs and foreign financial institutions.

They are seeking an experienced banking operations leader to help build and scale the bank's operational infrastructure while serving as a key member of the executive leadership team. This individual will oversee day-to-day banking operations and play a critical role in the organization's long-term succession planning, with the opportunity to grow into a COO or President-level position.

• Lead day-to-day banking and payment operations.
• Oversee customer onboarding, deposit operations, and account servicing.
• Build scalable operational processes supporting domestic and international payment flows.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Product, and Technology teams to support growth.
• Develop operational controls appropriate for a regulated OCC-chartered bank.
• Interact with regulators and support examinations.
• Help build and mentor the operations organization as the bank scales.

• 10+ years of banking operations leadership experience.
• Experience with in a commercial bank, sponsor bank, or fintech-focused bank.
• Strong knowledge of payment operations, ACH, wires, SWIFT, and cross-border payments.
• Experience with correspondent banking and/or Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) is highly preferred.
• Executive presence with the ability to engage regulators and senior leadership.
