Job Summary

IBC Bank is seeking a Teller Auditor to mitigate losses by conducting quarterly cash audits, monitoring cash limits, performing teller reconciliations, investigating outages, and ensuring accurate reporting. This full‑time, in‑office position will support tellers with overrides, RegCC holds, and training to enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assigned quarterly cash audits.
  • Perform research on teller‑related issues and cash box/vault outages.
  • Monitor cash limits and ensure weekly cash orders are timely.
  • Monitor work teller reconciliations and report outages.
  • Formulate reports to review and evaluate overall teller operations.
  • Facilitate transaction overrides and customer portfolio approvals to expedite customer experience while mitigating loss.
  • Provide branch staff with immediate feedback based on audit findings and observations.
  • Provide the branch manager with feedback from overall branch assessment to aid in employee development, coaching and performance evaluations.
  • Be flexible to travel and assist other branches.
  • Perform teller functions if required.
  • Initiate teller set‑ups to ensure tellers can perform job duties.
  • Attend, participate, and facilitate meetings as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
  • Good oral and written communication; bilingual preferred for border markets.
  • Key service‑oriented time management, learning strategies, mathematics instruction.
  • Complex problem‑solving, critical thinking, organization.
  • Social perceptiveness, judgement and sound decision‑making abilities.
Education & Experience
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of teller or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Cash‑handling experience required.
  • Customer service experience required.
