Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Bank Teller role based in Center Point, TX. The Bank Teller will handle daily teller operations, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other routine transactions accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities include managing cash drawers, verifying cash totals, issuing cashier's checks or money orders, and following established security and compliance procedures. The role involves greeting customers, answering questions about accounts and services, and referring customers to appropriate banking staff for more complex needs.
The Bank Teller will also assist with balancing at the end of the day, maintaining detailed records, and supporting branch service and sales initiatives.
- Candidates should possess skills in Teller Operations and Deposits to accurately process customer transactions and follow banking procedures.
- Candidates should possess strong Cash Handling skills, including balancing a cash drawer and maintaining accuracy under time pressure.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to regulatory and security guidelines.
- Basic math skills and comfort working with computer-based banking systems.
- Prior experience in banking, retail cash handling, or a customer-facing financial role is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in banking or finance are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Center Point, TX, and maintain a professional demeanor in a community bank environment.
