Job Description - Full Time Teller, Gun Barrel City Branch
Summary:
Receives and pays out money and keeps records of money and negotiable instruments involved in financial transactions by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsements.
- Cash’s checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
- Enters customer’s transactions into their teller software to record transactions, and issues computer generated receipts if applicable.
- Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds if applicable.
- Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer in accordance with policies and procedures and compares totaled amounts with data provided in teller software.
- Assists with balancing the vault(s), coin machine, TCR/TCD, and ATM if needed.
- Scan and process "work" prior to the end of the business day.
