Rooted in our culture of integrity, professionalism, and One Schwab collaboration, this role places you at the center of meaningful client moments, helping individuals navigate sensitive life events while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and forward momentum.
As an Estate Services Relationship Specialist, you own and resolve estate cases end to end by reviewing and processing legal documentation, mitigating financial and legal risk, and guiding clients, attorneys, and internal partners through estate-related inquiries. You deliver accurate, empathetic, and client-focused service primarily through phone, email, and written communications while completing detailed processing work within internal systems. The role requires thorough data gathering and research, attention to detail, and sound judgment to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
You effectively manage time and workload, navigate multiple systems, collaborate closely with colleagues, and take initiative to move cases forward. Through continuous learning and openness to feedback, you contribute to high-quality outcomes for clients and ongoing improvement for the team.
As part of this role, you will support Schwab Wealth Advisory (SWA), a paid advisory service within the Priority segment that serves high-net-worth clients. SWA clients hold at least $500,000 in investable assets and work with a dedicated Wealth Advisor or advisory team. Relationship Specialists supporting SWA handle Estate cases for this client base, requiring strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, Wealth Advisors, attorneys, trustees, executors, and internal business partners.
This work requires a high level of ownership, professionalism, and accuracy while navigating complex estate scenarios and delivering an exceptional client experience.
You’ll deepen your expertise through comprehensive on-the-job training, learning how to interpret documentation, assess complex scenarios, and apply structured decision-making in a way that builds client confidence.
