As a Sinton Police Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Enforcing state laws, municipal codes, and city ordinances.
• Conducting proactive community patrols and engaging with residents.
• Participating in criminal investigations and accident reconstruction.
• Problem-solving and responding to calls for service with professionalism.

• Licensing: Must possess a valid Texas Peace Officer License (TCOLE) and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Screening: Candidates must pass a comprehensive background investigation, oral interview, physical exam, psychological evaluation, and drug screening.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and a healthy sense of humor.
• Availability: Must be able to work rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends.
