Missions

Under the authority of the head of the Municipal Police Service, your duties will include:

Main Responsibilities:

- Supervise and oversee the officers of the brigade, - Organize the necessary means to ensure surveillance, prevention, and suppression of offenses, - Develop a relationship of proximity with the population, - Manage and control administrative procedures. Regularly Performed:

- Plan, organize, and implement the relational missions of the brigade, - Coordinate, control, and monitor the activity of the brigade, - Ensure the application and follow-up of instructions, - Prepare service bulletins, - Ensure liaison and coordination of communication between municipal police officers, within the command chain and with other hierarchical stakeholders, relay orders of conduct, - Supervise officers during interventions or events, - Ensure the smooth running of public events and ceremonies, - Apply missions within the competence of the municipal police in matters of prevention, surveillance of good order, safety, security, and public health, - Execute municipal ordinances and enforce the rules of the Highway Code, - Maintain and develop proximity missions towards the population, - Guide and assist the public on the public road, - Organize, assist, and prepare meetings under the cover of the head of service, - Carry out projects developed according to the expectations of the management and the municipality, - Apply and follow up on missions, instructions, and complaints entrusted by the hierarchy, - Respond quickly to all requests from the command post, the town hall, or the public, - Lead and animate teams, - Set objectives for officers, - Conduct and debrief before and after the start of service, - Organize the tasks of officers, - Control officers in the field, - Control verbal and written reports and accounts, - Forward service instructions to relief.

- High school diploma or equivalent, - Desired experience in a similar position, - Good knowledge of the regulations, the missions of the municipal police, and the powers of the mayor, - Legal knowledge of the legal framework of the municipal police, road law, and fundamental rights, - Knowledge of project management technique and methodology, - Mastery of office tools and business software, - Rigor, method, availability, - Sense of public service and relations with the public, - Discretion, listening, exchange, and professional secrecy, - Driver's license.
