Salary Range$42,250 - $59,500 at 197 working days
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED.
- Texas Peace Officer License issued by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE).
- Valid Texas drivers license.
- General knowledge of criminal investigation, police report writing, and criminal laws.
- Training and ability to subdue offenders, including use of firearms and handcuffs.
- Bondable as required by Texas Education Code 37.081.
- Ability to pass required physical, psychiatric, and drug tests.
- Ability to work with youths and adults.
- Strong communication, public relations, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Background in law enforcement or related work experience.
