Position: Lead Residential Communities Initiatives (RCI) Specialist with Security Clearance
Location: Fort Hood

Duties
* Incumbent is Ft Hood's staff expert on all matters relating to family housing privatization/Residential Communities Initiatives (RCI) and lodging privatization/Privatized Army Lodging (PAL).
* Provides technical advice and assistance to Garrison Commander and other installation staff to represent Department of Army, IMCOM and Ft Hood objectives.
* Develops and implements command-wide policies and procedures for assigned functional areas.
* Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
* Ensures that Fort Hood meets family housing and Army Lodging privatization objectives and monitors IMCOM installations' compliance with E.O. 811063 on equal opportunity in housing.
* Furnishes technical and professional support in the preparation and defense of housing and lodging privatization programs, plans, and budget estimates at all echelons. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 11.

Experience:

One year of specialized experience which includes Managing family housing and lodging privatization efforts and programs, analyzing issues to develop recommendations to resolve housing/lodging issues, and assisting in attending meetings and forums concerning housing and lodging concerns. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
* Administration and Management

* Customer Service

* Planning and Evaluating Time in Grade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. Additional information
