Allegiance Mobile Health in Fort Stockton, TX is hiring Paramedics (EMT P). Paramedics will provide advanced life support care in emergency and non-emergency settings, leading patient assessment, performing advanced interventions, administering medications, interpreting EKGs, and ensuring safe transport to healthcare facilities.

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls 24/7, driving emergency vehicles in all road conditions.
• Read maps and follow written and verbal directions to respond efficiently and safely.
• Follow all departmental, local and state driving laws, policies and procedures.
• Use communication equipment to communicate verbally with dispatchers, EMS crews, first responders and other organizations.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in readiness and cleanliness, completing daily checklists and assisting with re-supply, decontamination and general readiness tasks.
• Report discrepancies with vehicles, supplies or equipment in writing.
• Provide direct patient care per Medical Director's authorization and protocols, demonstrating clinical and physical competency.
• Interact with outside agencies such as Police, Fire and First Responder Organizations, providing professional customer service.
• Accurately complete patient care reports, billing and documentation in a timely manner.
• Work under physically and psychologically taxing conditions including inclement weather, temperature extremes, hazardous environments, loud noises and high-stress situations.
• Pass departmental skills evaluation and complete the NEOP process before staffing a truck.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.

• Lift, carry, balance and push up to 125 pounds (250 pounds with assistance).
• Bend from the waist and touch toes, squat with legs parallel to the ground, and kneel with both knees firmly on the ground.
• Perform repetitive lifting, squatting, stooping and kneeling.
• Climb 20 sets of stairs without rest within 60 seconds.
• Demonstrate fine manual dexterity by performing clinical skills such as starting IVs and intubation.
• Correctable vision adequate to read street signs, see in low light and read small print.

• Remain calm and use good judgment in high-stress situations.
• Maintain a positive attitude in the face of adversity.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Function under extreme fatigue, temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions.

• High school graduate or GED.
• Certified as a paramedic in the State of Texas.
• CPR certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• PHTLS or ITLS certification.
• Effective communication skills.
• Read, write and interpret instructions in English.
• Valid Texas driver's license and be insurable.
