OverviewWe’re looking for a skilled and compassionate professional to join our dynamic interdisciplinary team in Gonzales County. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality, recovery-oriented case management and skills training services, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

Purpose:
Your efforts help individuals reintegrate post-hospitalization, focus on safety planning, and build strengths and supports needed to thrive. Every day you make a positive difference.
- Recovery-Focused Case Management: Provide person-centered case management services aimed at reducing barriers and enhancing wellness, independence, and stability.
- Skills Training and Psycho-Social Support: Facilitate skills training to help clients overcome challenges and build tools needed for a successful recovery journey, via face-to-face or televideo sessions in-clinic or in the community.
- Collaboration with Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT): Work closely with MCOT for seamless continuity of care, from crisis management to recovery support. Conduct crisis assessments and appropriate referrals.
- Building Resilience and Safety: Support individuals with high-crisis needs to build resilience, reduce risks, and develop empowerment in their recovery process.
- You have a deep commitment to mental health recovery and empowering individuals.

- You bring strong crisis management and assessment skills and are motivated by the opportunity to help individuals overcome complex challenges.
- Up to $4.00/hour for Tenure with BTCS
- $0.75/hour for Bilingual
- Up to $2.00/hour for prior experience in a similar role with a community center in Texas
- $1.00/hour for Master’s Degree in Human Services
- $1.00/hour for Advanced Licensure
- $0.50/hour for LCDC Licensure Eligibility for
- $200/month Service Delivery Incentive Award

Minimum QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a social, behavioral, or human services field, or equivalent coursework, and knowledge of mental illness.
Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and maintain approved driver status throughout employment.
- If degree is not in a human services field, a minimum of 24 college credits in a human services field is required.
One year of experience in mental health assessment and/or crisis intervention and screening.
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related human service field.
Bilingual preferred.
