Position DetailsPosition Details: Full-Time Position
Monday - Friday Day Shift Schedule + OnCall Responsibility
$15,000 Sign On Bonus with a 24-Month Commitment
- Perform duties for the surgical patient in accordance with the Nursing Standards of Care and AORN Standards and will implement and evaluate that care utilizing the Nursing Process.
- Will function as a member of the surgical team linking sterile and non-sterile fields.
- Will organize and oversee the operating room during the surgical procedure by maintaining surgical records, assisting anesthesia as needed, keeping the patient’s family informed of the patient’s condition.
- Assure patient safety and comfort, assisting scrub team in maintaining sterile field, controlling, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
- Associate’s degree and certified as a registered nurse.
- Preferred bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.
