Location: Decatur

Come Join our Family at Decatur Medical Lodge! There’s no place else like Decatur Medical Lodge. Since 2013, we have been Decatur’s premiere location for short-term rehabilitation, post-hospital recovery, and long-term care. As part of Priority Management, a privately-owned Texas-based company, we seek to enrich the lives of our guests, their families, and our employees. Through incisive leadership, a strong financial foundation, constantly evolving programs, and exceptional staffing we make this possible.

While we pride ourselves on our serious commitment to compliance, safety and standard of care best practices, we add to that seriousness a generous dose of warmth that mirrors the community we serve. We treat our residents as family and enjoy having fun while ensuring that all their needs are being met.

We are a growing company and have multiple roles open for a licensed LVN. You will provide outstanding patient care and physical support for patients and residents on a daily basis. We are looking for kind and passionate LVNs to work in our senior living facility.

Charge Nurse Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
  • Administer and document medication to residents in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Observe residents for effectiveness of drug therapy and adverse effects.
  • Document resident progress notes as required.
  • Promptly report changes in residents' condition to DON.
  • Attend staff meetings, interdisciplinary team meetings, rehab meetings, in-service classes and committee meetings as assigned.
  • To be successful you must have a passion for helping others as well as the patience needed to assist difficult patients or family members. A good LVN balances empathy and professional care without compromising either.
  • Wage is dependent on experience, attitude, and aptitude.
