Physical Therapy Assistant PTA and PRN

Winfield Rehab and Nursing is searching for a Full time Physical Therapist Assistant for this facility to provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapy Assistant will be responsible for documenting patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.

• Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.
• Responds to requests for service by relaying information and referral to Registered Physical Therapist.
• Implements and modifies the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment with RPT supervision
• Measuring & recording residents motor function, strength and muscle performance
• Monitors patient responses to treatments and modifies it during treatment sessions as necessary.
• Observe residents and write progress reports.
