Home Care Aide / Professional Caregiver - Join our expanding agency!
We are looking for Professional Caregivers & Home Care Aides to join our team! Comfort Keepers is an in‑home care company that has served Ft. Worth for 17 years. We are now moving north and northwest into NW Tarrant County and even Denton County. We have clients in Haslet, Saginaw and Lake Worth and need daytime help.
You will be directly working with patients, one‑on‑one, following an individualized plan of care in patient private homes.
We’re looking for people who operate with compassion, have a big heart, provide personalized and attentive care, and build genuine relationships with those they serve.
Strong verbal and listening skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Care, Home Health, or Hospice experience is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as moving in and out of bed or wheelchairs, taking baths & showers, toileting, dressing
- Help around the house: changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning dishes, or preparing meals
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor in the office
- Submit timesheets weekly
- Build relationships with patients by conversing, reading aloud, pursuing hobbies to help keep them mentally engaged and active
- Medication reminders
- Engage with patients as you complete the plan of care
- Experience with the elderly, prior professional experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license required
- Reliable vehicle

- Telemedicine and minimal essential care (preventive) plan available immediately; employees can enroll in an enhanced health plan (which is PPO‑like) after one year

Compensation: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
