Located in Edna, TX, this contract role offers a structured day shift schedule with manageable call responsibilities and no floating or block scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Perform trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms with advanced proficiency
• Conduct venous and arterial Doppler studies
• Administer intravenous lines and IV medications as needed
• Interpret EKGs and assist with cardiac and vascular stress testing
• Provide high-quality imaging services maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
• Utilize Medhost and Carestream EMR systems for documentation
• Participate in call rotation every third weekend and rotational weekday call

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited echocardiography and vascular technology/sonography or non-invasive cardiovascular technology program
• ARDMS or CCI registry in echocardiography and vascular technology highly preferred
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in echo and vascular imaging
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated advanced skill with trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms
• Experience placing IV lines and administering IV medications preferred
• EKG interpretation and cardiac/vascular stress testing experience a plus

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Call every third weekend with rotational weekday call
• Maximum of 3 days required time off
