Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in both full-time and per diem roles. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care and works effectively under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to support rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans focused on improving activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Instruct patients in therapeutic activities to enhance strength, coordination, and independence
  • Monitor patient responses and report progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current Texas COTA license (or eligibility)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under supervision and as part of a team
  • Experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred
