Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
- Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Provide superior customer service to all patients.
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
- Travel to additional sites when needed.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 1year or more of phlebotomy experience.
- 2years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab setting.
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
$17.75 – $23.00 per hour.
Phlebotomist may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
Benefits- Employees scheduled regularly to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
- Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
- Employees scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
