Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Baird, Texas.

• Make a real difference as a travel PTA supporting patients in a skilled nursing facility in Baird, TX. You will assist patients recovering from injury or illness to improve mobility and function while working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Ability to follow PT treatment plans and document progress according to facility standards.

• Experience with restorative nursing programs and equipment commonly used in SNFs, such as Hoyer lifts and gait belts.
• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.

It is approximately 20–30 miles from the Abilene metropolitan area and within a one- to two-hour drive of Lake Fort Phantom Hill and Lake Kirby for fishing and boating.
