Position Highlights
- Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No weekends, no call requirements
- Average patient volume of 18 patients per day

Clinical Responsibilities
- New patient evaluations
- Follow-up and established patient visits
- Acute care/same-day access appointments
- Individual in-basket management
- Preventive care and chronic disease management
- Perform simple office procedures including:
- Incision & Drainage (I&D)
- Joint and soft tissue injections
- Pap smears
- Cryotherapy
- Wound care
New Graduate Friendly
- Open to experienced providers and new graduates
- Structured onboarding and mentorship program
- 12-18 months of APP transition support and oversight
- Ongoing mentorship from experienced APP leadership, supervising physician, and care team colleagues

The Physician Assistant (PA) Primary Care is a licensed, certified healthcare provider. They provide direct patient care and have prescriptive authority. They are credentialed, privileged, and billed as an independent provider by Medicare and Medicaid. The Advanced Practice Provider offers medical care based on the supervising physician's scope of practice.
These providers typically provide care to patients in an internal medicine, family medicine, geriatric or pediatric clinic.
Essential Functions of the Role- Assess the physical and mental condition of patients by performing comprehensive or problem-focused physical exams and obtaining medical histories.
- Orders, collects, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and other diagnostic tests to assess patient problems and health care needs.
- Prescribes, recommends, or uses medical drug therapies or other treatments. Performs procedures following approved protocols, focusing on efficacy, safety, and cost.
- Recommends interventions to modify behavior associated with health risks.
- Creates and carries out detailed patient treatment plans based on assessments, evidence-based medicine, and care standards. Collaborates with physicians and team members when needed.
- Evaluates patients response to health care provided and the effectiveness of care.
- Counsels patients and families regarding medical processes, management of the health illness/condition, medication, nutrition, and health promotion.
